To earn a Certificate, you will need to complete the tasks in your Journey. Know what tasks are needed and keep track of your Journey progress by following these steps:
1. On the learner app, go to the Certificates tab to see what Certificates are available for you.
- Some certificates may be "Assigned" to you which means that those are your priorities and need to be completed before the due date.
- If there are no assigned certificates, feel free to choose any that interest you.
- In the example below, the certificates Owning My Past Actions and Making Good Choices are both assigned.
2. Click the To-do List button on your chosen/assigned certificate.
- This will display the tasks and number of tasks that you need to complete in order to reach a 100% score and earn a certificate.
- Basic task you will often see are the following (but not limited to):

Do xx modules - this means completing a certain number of modules in that cert.
- Nested under this task is the list of modules in that certificate. You can click on the title to get into the module. Feel free to do more modules than what is being required.

- Earn inspires - inspire point is given on any of the following scenarios: (1) when the story you submitted in the module was accepted and is public; (2) when someone leaves a comment on a story you published; and (3) when you leave a review on someone else’s submitted story.

Pre-survey and Post-survey - Click on the title link to access the survey activity.

Do xx modules - this means completing a certain number of modules in that cert.
3. The ribbon icon on the certificate displays your progress score.

Your cert score will be updated each time you complete a task. Your goal is to get 100% completion.
4. Locked Activity (Post-Survey)
- Notice on the example certificate above that the 2nd task (Do Making Good Choices (post) - Live Activity) is locked. That activity is a post-survey.
- This means that the first task(s) above it needs to be completed first before the post-survey will be unlocked and accessible.
- Complete the survey once accessible to check off the final task.
5. Download your Certificate.
- Once all the required tasks are checked off, your certificate should show a 100% completion.
- You can download your certificate by clicking on the mini certificate icon or download button.
