There are two places where group facilitators can archive members of the group. See the steps below to learn how:
(Currently, only archiving is available on the Journey app while both archiving and unarchiving are possible from the Champion Dashboard.)
Option 1: From the Champion Dashboard:
- From the Journey app, access the Champion Dashboard and go to the User tab.
- Search for the member you need to archive. Scroll to the far right section and click on the three dots. Click on Edit.
- On the People Management section, go to the Group detail sub-tab.
- To archive a member from a specific group, uncheck the corresponding box from the groups listed under Active Groups. The group you unchecked will then be listed under Archived Groups.
- To unarchive (reinstate access to the group) a member, check the corresponding box from the groups listed under Archived Groups. The group will move up under Active Groups.
Important: If you are looking for a member who was previously archived in the group, make sure to check the box for "Include Archived Members" before searching.
Option 2: From the Journey app:
- In the Journey app, navigate to the Group tab.
- Click on the Members count link that’s right under the group name to take you to the Members page.
- From the Members page, find the profile card of the member you need to archive. Click on the three dots on the upper-right corner and select Archive User from the pull-down menu.
- There will be a pop-up message asking you to confirm if you wish to proceed with archiving the member:
(Note: Once a user has been archived in the group, they will immediately lose access to the group. )
