How do I reset a managed user's password?

Group leaders can reset their members' passwords when needed. 

There are 2 places where the password can be changed:

From the Learner app:

1. Log in to your account in Journey.do.
   
   
2. Navigate to the Group tab. 
   
   
3. Click on the Member Count link below the group name. 
   
   
   
4. Find the profile card of the member you need to reset the password for. Click on the three dots then select Edit Managed User. 
   
   Note: The option "Edit Managed User" only exists for managed users. If that option is not displayed on the menu, it means that the member is not a managed user and will have to reset the password on their own.
   
   
5. On the Edit Managed User window, enter the new password, confirm, and click on Update button.
   
   Other data such as Name, Display Name, Reference ID, Username, and Email may also be changed here if needed. 
   
   
6. Have the member login with the new password.

 

From the Champion App:

1. Access the Champion Dashboard and navigate to the People tab. 
   
   
2. Search for the member you need to change the password for. (Make sure you have the correct group selected at the top filter to find the correct member.)
   
   
   
3. Click on the purple button to the far right of the row. Select Edit. 
   
   
   
4. On the People Management window, enter the new password, confirm, and click on Save.
   
   Note: All data in this window will only be 'editable' if it's a managed user. Otherwise, all fields can't be updated and Save button is grayed out. 
   
   
5. Close the window after saving and have the member log in using the new password.
6. Once done, you can also use on the "Resend Invite Link" and send the updated information to the member if you know their email or phone, or if they have those saved on the account.

Additional Info:

Members can reset their own passwords by using the forgot password feature on the login page, or changing it from their profile page by clicking on the gear.
